The C40 software was able to detect it, and it appears the firmware is up to date. I tested the controller on a separate PC and it functioned perfectly fine. The only exception to this are Steam games, where the controller for some reason seems to work fine (it even switches profiles) - all other games do not detect it. More importantly, the controller doesn't seem to be properly detected by Windows and doesn't function in some games. As a result, I'm unable to update the firmware or see my profiles. The Astro C40 software fails to detect the controller while it is wired in via USB. For some reason the Astro C40 TR does not work properly on this setup. However, I've recently had problems with the controller being detected on a new PC.Ī few days ago I built a PC with an AMD 3900x CPU on an MSI Meg x570 Ace motherboard. Several months ago I purchased one and I've thoroughly enjoyed the product both on my PC and PS4. I'm looking for some help regarding my Astro C40 TR.
